    Oh, thanks... I didn't know that "show" can be used in such a (shall I use the article here?) meaning. However, we use it just in the same way, in Czech.

    Yes, if you're going to use "such" - it'd be more colloquial though to say something like "I didn't know 'show' could be used with that meaning" or "I didn't know 'show' could be used with a meaning like that" or "I didn't know 'show' could be used in that sense'.
