    old 3309

I'm looking for the explanation of the above phrase.
    Let mi quote the context:
Mom came to the front porch of "old 3309" (an affectionate reference to our home) and called us to dinner.
Any idea how to explain that affectionate name???

In England we don't have streets that long; but I may at some time have referred to my family home as 'old 59'.

    Hello, Agaja,

The writer's home was located at 3309 Something Street, so he/she refers to the home as "old 3309."

    Regards
