    Do we say "Does he have the same color hair as his mom or mom's"?
    Is he the same age as his father or father's?

    The first is your choice.

    Does he have the same color hair as his mom (does)?
    Does he have the same color hair as his mom's (hair)?

    In the second, it must be "father".
