    Question brain drain

    I'm looking for a definition of the word 'brain drain'
    So, please help me!!!!!

    This is used to describe the migration of academics from their home country to work in another country - very much used in the UK about academics moving to the US. It implies that intellectual minds are draining away from home universities.

    Not only universities Anglika, but also from professional life, i.e. engineers, doctors, chemists etc.
    This is happening in Germany at the moment mirroring the situation almost exactly as that of the UK at the end of the 60's and early 70's.
