    output of water?

I'm reading a chart and the note above it says "The body loses water via sweat, urine, breath, and faeces. Output of water increases in hot weather."

The x-coordinate of the chart syas Drinks, Food, Metabolism, Urine, Sweat, Breath, Faeces while Y-coordinate are amount in Litres that shows Intake hot, Output hot, Intake cold and Output cold.

I'm confused about what intake, output, hot and cold mean here. Does output mean the amount of water our body loses? Is the chart showing how much water our body loses and gains in hot and cold weather?

Output = water leaving the body
input = water entering the body

Hot and cold refer to the ambient temperature.

Loss or gain would be the net amount of intake minus output.
