    If you mean Kyle as in "Kyle Minogue" the famous singer, then it's two syllables. Ky-le. The e on the end is pronounced. It can also be pronounced as one syllable with a silent e on the end; usually as a boys name.

    If you mean Kyle as in "Kyle of Lochalsh" the place name, then it's one syllable with a silent e on the end.

    Kyle is always pronounced like tile.

    The singer's name is KYLIE Minogue. It's pronounced KYLEE.

    All those words have one syllable, but I understand the confusion. In order to pronounce the L after a long I sound, we create an additional mini-syllable. It comes out less profound than a real second syllable, but it is there.

    BI ul
    TI ul
    PI ul
