    hi,

    what is the difference between these two?

    "skills required for security analysits" and

    "skills required by security analysits"

    actually I want to say "skills required to be a security analyist",
    so which one should be used: required by or required for?
    or do they mean the same?

    In that case, "for" would be better, but the form in your question is the clearest.

    "Required by" suggests that the skills are something the analysts need access to but don't possess themselves.
