RULES OF GREETING AND CC (Carbon Copy)

I am Sohail from Pakistan. I want to learn English especially office correspondens. My English is too weak.

    My Questions are.

    1. What rules using a word ATTENTION in office correspondense ?
    2. During offical correspondense Can we use a word an ATTENTION before Name in greetings especially with our seniors (By designation)

    3. What order will be in our mind in CC (Copy to Others for information)

If by " office correspondence " you mean letters to other companies, it would not be good practice to used "ATTENTION".

If you mean internal correspondence, it should only be used if you are making the other person/people aware of a matter of urgency. I would never use it if addressing someone senior.

In this case, I would say

    "Dearxxxxx,
I would like to bring to your attention .... "

    Thanks for your prompt reply.

I have still one question .

In Internal correspondese When we send a copy to others for information we write the refrences in CC. Question is that During writing the refrences in CC What is the sequence of refrences. ( Designation/Seniority Wise)

I would think that your company's policy is what is most relevant here.

As Ron said, if your company has an established policy regarding this, then that's what you should follow. Otherwise, it's traditional to list the most senior people first in a CC list (president, vice president, managers, etc). Those who are equal in "rank" should then be listed alphabetically.

That would vary from organization to organization.

There are no general ethics- other than vague things about politeness and honesty- companies are free to choose how they make such choices. What exactly do you think 'ethics' means?
