    Cool vacation

    Hi,

which one is correct? Good luck and nice vacation!
Good luck and have a nice vacation!

Neither of them? in this case, which is the correct form?

    Re: vacation

The second is the full version, but I see nothing wrong with the shorter version. I wouldn't write it formally, though.

Context may clear any confusion, but "nice vacation" is not clearly a wish for someone else.

For example, if I say "nice day" it sounds more like a comment on the day than a wish for someone to have a nice day.

Mind you, if you're sitting in a poolside bar sipping a caiparinha...

Context is everything. Can I get you something from the bar?
