    A Lesson

    Dear Teachers,

    A. I’m sure you son wouldn’t trade you off for the most expensive gift in the world. Try to pass that message on to him on the 25th as it is a lesson that most privileged kids take for granted admist all of the gifts giving.

    - What do “trade you off” and “take for granted” mean in these two sentences?

    Thanks a million

    Namsteven

"trade you off" = exchange you for

"take for granted" = accept your presence without question or consideration
