    Wink proverb

    i have a question about a proverb :
    "look before you leap"
    i know the meaning of this proverb i found it in this site.i want to know in wich situation we usualy use this proverb
    please explane it for me .

    Use caution, is what it means. Use it when you need to know the consequences of your actions before you take action. For example, buying a house, a car, getting married, etc.
