    Default knock dead?

    Hello there

I wonder what is the meaning of "knock dead" and possible situations in which the phrase can be used.

I'd like to give you an example of sentence but to be sorry, I can't.

Is there anybody to help me?

    Thank you!

If something 'knocks you dead, it's amazing.

    She is knock-dead gorgeous!
=> She's so beautiful that her beauty could knock you down dead.

    "Knock 'em dead!"
=> Amaze them with a move, a song, an act, etc.
=> Give it your best (shot).

If a coconut falls from a tree, it could knock you out cold; it could knock you down dead; It could knock you unconscious.

    All the best,

In BE we tend to use 'drop-dead' as the adjective.
