    Default corrrect verb

    Dear Teacher

Ivy was very happy that her parents agreed to let her keep the puppy as her pet. She kissed them. She asked her mother what she should name the puppy. Her mother suggested that she call it Lucky. Ivy said, “I like the name. Thanks, Mum.”

It is / was indeed lucky that Lucky has / had found a new home.

Which verbs should be used in the last sentence?

    Thank you very much.

    With warmest wishes

Thanks. Yes, the sentence concerned is the last sentence of the composition.
