    improving english

    Dear Sir/Madam

    I have problems in speaking english,every time i try to speak english i become nervous,on the other hand my english writing and listening skills are good.Kindly advise me how can i speak english fluently.

    You have to try to get to the cause of what makes you nervous. People often feel inhibited when talking because they worry about making mistakes, which is an attitude that can have a negative effect. If you are one of those people, then worry less about making mistakes and focus more on getting your message across.

    Hi Ahmer,

    Speaking any language, be it your first, second or third, is all about COMMUNICATION! Whether or not your English is correct is neither here nor there as long as the communication process is successful! By speaking English (in your case) you can only improve it, discover more about it, and improve your communication skills. Remember too that you probably speak better English than the person to whom you're speaking, speaks Pakistani!
