    (1) What does "self deprerating humour means in the following: "while King Khan may lack the gravitas of Amitabh Bachan, he brings to the show his own brand of youthful charm and self deprecating humour which Star Plus hopes to attract a new generation of viewers". (2) What is "cutting edge".

    self deprecating
    trying to make yourself, your abilities or your achievements seem less important. Self deprecating humour means you are making fun of yourself.

    cutting edge
    very modern and with all the newest features
    cutting edge technology
