Default From the corner of my eyes

From the corner of my eyes, I saw a man shoplifting.

Is 'From' the correct preposition? Or is there no such expression? And should it be 'eye' or 'eyes'?

It's fine, but you may want to use singular eye, not plural eyes.

You may use 'eye'. Does it mean that 'eyes' is also correct?

    Thank you very much.

Well, corner of my eye is a set phrase. As for, corner of my eyes, that's one corner and two eyes. As for, the corners of my eyes, that's OK too, but it could mean one eye is looking left and the other right. <hehe> I'd stick with the set phrase. There seems to be a reason it's set.
