    what

    Can one say:
1-Some people believe what nonsense they read in newspapers.
2-What nonsense they print in nespapers, some people believe it.
3-What book they review sells well.

(Instead of "whatever nonsense", "whatever book".)

    Re: what

    • 1-Some people believe what nonsense they read in newspapers.- I would use 'whatever' or 'the'
2-What nonsense they print in nespapers, some people believe it.- I'd change the comma to a semi-colon.
3-What book they review sells well.- I'd use whichever

TDOL, I edited your message and changed "wouldn't" to "would" in your first comment.

I agree with TDOL's comments. Another possibility for #2 is:

What nonsense they print in newspapers! Some people believe it.

    How about:
    • What nonsense they print in newspapers! Amazingly, some people believe it.

    What do you think?

    :)
