    Thumbs down English Homework idiomatic expressions

    What does it mean, "Hush, fell over". I need the definition because Iam taking english classes and this is for an assignment, besides is there a dictionary site on this web page for idiomatics expressions and their definitions, i would appreciate it ,if you know, let me know thank you.

    I've never heard that expression used as a "frozen formula" idiomatic expression, CC.

    On UsingEnglish.com, in the English Language Reference, you'll find 'English Idioms'-that's a Dictionary of English Idioms & Idiomatic Expressions but I'm afraid 'Hush, fell over' isn't one of them! However, 'A hush fell over the room' means that there was a period of silence in the room.
