    absorbed?

I read this sentence in my book:

"I spend my days absorbed in reading."

    Is it grammatically correct?
Shouldn't the verb after "spend" be in Ving form?

Not here- absorbed is not an active verb:
    I spend my time reading
I spend my time (being) absorbed in reading.

Use "spending" in a sentence such as this:
    • I have been spending my days absorbed in reading.

It's not the same, of course.

    :)

No, but it shows an admirable dedication to reading.
