    It also depends on what kind of accent you are interested in.
    I barely understand the Scottish accent and quite frequently I struggle to listen the Irish one, for instance.

    Let's not forget about BBC World (live video streaming), it's a good call IMO:

    I could record my family’s conversation but it would be boring. I think your best option is to watch family TV shows. They present interesting and funny situations. For example: The Wonder Years, 7th Heaven, The Simpsons, Gilmore Girls and others.
    Yeh. I still can't understand 2 sentence in a row of what they say in Scrubs. JK
