    Default More fool you

    I use this expression alot but when my Flemish boyfriend asked me what it meant i couldnt explain it. Can someone help?

    More fool you = Your behaviour shows that you are more of a fool than I thought. It's a very economical idiom - no wonder you use it a lot [2 words].

    A strange phrase. Is it really common in Britain? Which word is stressed?

    The stress is on the 'you', and yes, it's quite common. It's less common in the 1st and 3rd persons ('more fool me/him...etc'), though it does exist.
