    Default technology

    Hi Teachers

Is the word "tecnologies" correctly used in the following sentence?

Explain how a prospective student uses modern technologies.
As far as I know "technology" is an uncountable noun. Can it be used in this form as above ?

    Thank you very much

I think either one can be used here. In this case they probably want you to think of different types and applications of technology, so they use the plural form.

"Explain how a prospective student uses/applies/employs modern technologies."
This sentence is perfectly acceptable to me.
