    Default Answer to Question

Britain has a higher proportion of economically active women than any of our four EC parteners, with the exception of Denmark.

    YES or NO
: Denmark is the only EC country with fewer economically active women than Britain.

I think answer should be 'No.' Am I right?

    You're right, Denmark has more.

    I am confused.

There seems to be a conflict here - the first statement indicates that of the four EC partners, Britain has proportionally more economically active women apart from Denmark [conclusion - Denmark has more], whereas the second states that Denmark is the only EC country with fewer such women.

    What is the question?

In fact the answer to the second statement is NO, i.e. it is false.
