    What it the difference between the "opinion ON" and "opinion OF" (sth.)? Or do they mean the same?

    Well, I'm not a native speaker... but I'd say that "opinion on" refers to an opinion about an issue and "opinion of" refers to the opinion belonging to someone.

    e.g. The opinions of those grammarians on some parts of speech are not accurate.

    There is no easy answer to this, but normally one would have an opinion OF someone- ie. you would have made up your mind about what you thought of them.

    One would have and opinion ON something, or someone else's ideas - ie. an opinion about a topic of discussion, not an opinion about a person.

    Another way of putting this might be:
    OF is personal
    ON is anything not personal.
