    Default nature?

Coporations differ from other forms of business principally in the nature of ownership and management.

I don't get what "in the nature of ..." means.
Could anyone please give me a hand?

    Thanks!!

Corporations differ in the essential qualities or character of ownership and management. (i.e, in how or in the way corporations are owned and managed.)

"Nature" refers to what is ingrained and unchangeable.
