    Rephrase a sentence. HOW?!

    Please take a look at this extract from a letter:

    Dear Sir/Madam,
    Todayís teenagers have far too much freedom, and donít get any discipline from their parents. Theyíre always out late at night, standing on steer corners. I think that parents should be much stricter with their children. Iím sure that many other readers will agree with me.

    And here is a typical reply to this:

    I have just read a letter in your magazine about Ö.

    Well, itís clear the main idea of the topic is teenagers have far too much freedom, and donít get any discipline from their parents but I donít know how to rephrase this and use just one or several words instead of a gap in the sentence above. Could you please help me? Thank you very much.
