    about the phonology

    Hi again
    I have a question:
what is the significance of including the study of phonemes in sequence under the rubric of phonology?
I hope that the question is clear to you..

    Re: about the phonology

In short, phonemes are an abstract representation of the distinctive sounds of a language.

    Re: about the phonology

Thank you for your response .
I really need help in this subject. My professor calls names and asks questions about phonology, and every time he does this, my affective filter rate increases. And he only calls my name when he starts asking the difficult questions .
I really need some advice about this subject. I sent an e-mail to to the professor asking him about some references to refer to, but he didn't reply to my e-mail.
I hope that you could help me . I'll be grateful.
I'll post my questions in this thread..
By the way, what is a muddy vowel?

    Re: about the phonology

    Hi,
my exam will be on the next week and I am a little bit scare . The professor said that there will be phonological problems. What does this mean? And do you have any advice for me?

Probably I'll pour my questions during these days if you don't mind.
