    much importance to

Even as the Pakistan team left for their home, skipper Inzamam-ul-Haq and assitant coach Mushtaq Ahmed faced another set of questions, which the skipper didn't touch much importance to.

Please explain the highlighted group of words.

    Re: much importance to

    didn't touch much importance to.

Incorrectly transcribed by someone - "didn't attach much importance to" is the correct idiom.

Didn't see any importance in the situation.
