Default What is the "accents" meaning?

    Hello, all:

We bought a new round stool, the size is 9"(dia) x 23"(height).
It also discribes itself as "accents any room".

I don't know the meaning of this saying! Thanks!

    It accentuates any room.

'accent' is short for accentuate, meaning to emphasize, make prominent; in this context, an accent is a distinctive feature of a room. :D

I hadn't seen it as a verb like that before.

The prominent feature of this stool is tall: 23" ~ 60 cm, it is
taller than usual chairs or stools in any room. Does the word
"accent" here means "tall" ? -- Yumin

Yes, but you would say it like this, the stool's height makes it distinctive. :)
