    see / watch

When we are going to the cinema, do we say, "We're going to see a film" or "We're going to watch a film" ?

    Re: see / watch

Either is ok. See is more common if one is going to a theater, and watch is more common in someone's home. I'm not completely sure about this, so if you want a perfect answer, wait.
    Hope this helps!

    Re: see / watch

We go to the cinema to see a film. We can see a film on TV at home too. But we usually say: watch TV.

    Thanks, Harry.

If I'm in the cinema, then I've to say, "I'm watching a film." Am I correct?

Yes, of course! When you watch the film you concentrate on it.
