Red face how can i take it to the back?

Hi... what can i say about an action that extends for some period back in time? for example if an official form was endorsed by a date which is a week ago, can i call it a retro-signature? or a signature that can be taken to the back?

    thanks in advance.

I'd be extremely cautious about accepting any form that was backdated.

It is wholly wrong and probably illegal! The only reason one puts a date on a form is to say to others that THIS IS WHEN I SIGNED IT. If that isn't true, then nothing on the form can be taken as being true....so it is worthless.
