    It has been a week since the players came back from the Carribean, and now the senior players are planning to meet Board officials to present their side of the picture before the Board meets the team management and former captains this weekend.

    Please explain the highlighted group of words

    In any argument, there will be two or more sides/aspects to the argument. The picture is here a metaphor for the argument. The player' views are one side of it, the management's are another.
