    She also realizes that she may be different from her own pride, but she definitely doesn't belong with the wanderers.



    I wonder why it is not belong to but belong with here. Are they interchangeable without changing the meaning? Thanks.

    Not quite. To belong with a group implies that your beliefs or your behaviour match the group's; to belong to a group implies that you are part of that group.
