    Default testimony or testimonial

When a Christian is talking about how his life has changed for the better since he embraced Christianity, is he is giving a testimony or a testimonial?

    Thank you very much.

It seems that both are in use, though according to Google 'testimony' is more common.

That the problem I encountered. When I asked people, they were not sure.
To make matters, worse, Google has both terms. Really confusing!

    All the best
