Are these verbs synonyms?
Ensure - Assure
Is this sentence correct? / How would you write it?
Ensure the correct implementation of releases assuring data coherence.
Before suggesting an edited version, I'd need to know what was meant by 'correct implementation' and 'data coherence'. It might mean 'If you don't want Windows to screw up all your work so far, install the new software packages in this order:... [and keep your fingers crossed ]'.
But the usage of the two verbs is fine (although it would be clearer if you reworded to make it clear whether 'assuring' was a condition [imposed by the software or an aspiration held by the person doing the implementing: the difference here is between and 'Ensure ... so as to be sure that...' and 'Ensure ... if you want to...' ].)
