    Default What is the difference?

    Dear Teacher,

What is the difference between the following sentences:

    He is my older brother.

    He is my elder brother.

    Thanks in advance.

    Sweetie

As far as I know, they have the exact same meaning.

    Collins COBUILD:
"The elder of two people is the one who was born first."
