    Exclamation Suggesting improvements (FCE)

Could you please check my report? Thank you very much!

The school where you study English is considering making improvements to the classrooms. You have been asked to write a report for you head teacher, making suggestions on how the classrooms can be improved.

    Write your report.

    Subject: Improvements to the classrooms.

    Introduction

The purpose of this report is to recommend ways to make the classrooms more interesting to English learners.

    Recommendations

    • A TV in complete with a DVD/video recorder would enable students to watch a wide variety of English movies and educational programs, which would improve the studentsí ability to understand spoken English.
    • A wide range of multimedia products such as dictionaries, interactive educational software, etc could be used in class if computers with free access to the Internet would be also provided. Furthermore, on-line meetings with native speakers could be also conducted via the Internet.
    • Visual aids such as tables, diagrams, graphs, etc could be placed on the walls in order to improve and make the learning process more quickly. In addition, in order to make learning resources freely available, reference books could be kept in the classrooms.
    • In order to make conversation with a teacher more natural and comfortable, school desks could be rearranged in a circle instead of rows.

    Conclusion

In my opinion, these suggestions would definitely make the learning process more attractive and enjoyable, and it would also improve the studentsí knowledge of English.
