A candlestick is a price chart that displays the high, low, open, and close for a security each day over a specified period of time.

    Does that help?

Hello, thanks for your prompt reply. This appear in a book. the situation is: a friend (male) leaves a friend (woman) at home with a person (man), friend of the latter. The first says: It's Ok by me. I won't count the candlesticks when I get back.

I hope this is of help.

It means he trusts them not to steal things from the house while he is away, so he won't need to take an inventory of the valuables when he returns.
