    Default Which one is correct?

    Please tell me which one of the following two is correct. Thank you.

    1. For sales of this month, New York Office and L. A. Office reported an increase of $50,000 and $80,000, respectively.

    1. For sales of this month, New York Office and L. A. Office reported increases of $50,000 and $80,000, respectively.

    You can say either reported an increase...respectively or reported increases...respectively. However, you need the in front of New York and LA, and office need not be capitalized. I would have phrased this as follows:

    On this month's sales, the New York and LA offices reported increases of $50,000 and $80,000 respectively
