    Default Journey

The word journey has the meanings: to travel long distances and a literary meaning as a process of developing over a period of time.

can I say that writing a book is a journey ?

the second one is not a literary (literal) meaning, but a connotative (figurative) meaning.

Journey doesn't necessarily involve long distances, voyage is longer but trip is shorter

Not only sorry ! But I 'm careful with that word . the French voyage has a general meaning ( translated by journey trip or voyage) whereas the English voyage implies long distance and /or sea.
