    Practising speaking

How do you practise speaking English? Apart from in your class how do you speak? Is there anywhere on-line to speak to English speakers?

    Re: Practising speaking

I tell my students to watch a documentary style TV program and repeat what the host is saying. (Ones featuring animals generally speaker at a slower rate so you can watch the animals) Tape this while you are doing it and then listen to the tape. You should be able to hear your weak areas.

There are some language exchanges where you can talk to someone who also wants to learn your language: http://www.usingenglish.com/links/Sp...ion/index.html
