    Question handsome/goodlooking

    Hi.
    Is there anyone around here who says what's the diffrence between handsome and good-looking?

    They mean the same, though "handsome" usually carries more weight:

    Macaulay Culkin is good-looking, but Brad Pitt is truly handsome.

    Additionally, the term handsome is considered more formal than the term good-looking. Consider that younger men tend to be described as good-looking, whereas older men tend to be described as handsome.
