    Do you do this everyday?

How do you explain the difference between the first "do" and the second?

    Re: Do

The first verb "do" is an auxiliary verb; this auxiliary "helps" the writer form questions or interrogatives, establish negative verbs, and create emphasis.

The second "do" is the infinitive of the verb to do, necessary to create the above-mentioned constructions.
