    Can a topic sentence be in the same paragraph as the thesis satement?

    People show their culture with abreviations in chats?

    The abbreviations used tend to be fairly common- British and American speakers use the same ones. I'm not sure about other languages, but many are cross-cultural, like ASL (age, sex,location).
