    Smile Say in other words

    Hi dear experts,
Could you, please, say in other words the phrases in inverted commas. These are Car Alarm System Features. I have to translate these but I can't get the meaning:
    1."Ignition on safety-door lock"
    2. "Plug-in function LED"
    3. "Parking light flasher"
    4. "Trunk release output"
    5. "Plug-in over ride switch"

It is difficult with no context but I will give it a go.

I will guess that when the ignition is turned on that the doors are locked as a safety precaution to stop accidental opening when the vehicle is in motion.

    Confused.
Perhaps a seperate Light Emiting Diode can be plugged into the system.

On some alarms the parking light will flash to give visual confirmation that the door has been locked or unlocked.
In some very irritating systems the horn sounds to do this.

The trunk or boot of a car is a luggage or baggage compartment situated at the rear of the car and has a seperate button to unlock it.
This output would relate to that seperate button or switch.
In some systems it is situated on the key and in some systems it is hidden in the glovebox or similar.

It is possible to plug in a manual switch should the system fail. This is like a master key if the battery is disconncted of goes completely flat of there is some wiring or software fault.

I hope I have not confused you more.

Thank you very much!!! Words fail me to express my gratitude. You were most helpful. I got it perfectly well and can now make a very good and clear translation.
