    Email auto generated response

    Hi,
I have written a paragraph for email response. I wanted to write that the message has been received, but is not an indication of the email has been read.

Somehow i feel that the grammar may be wrong. Hope someone could have a look and give me some ideas.

    Thank you in advance.

Why will the sender need to show they have read the email?

    Huh?
People, you make a big mess with those sender-things!
I don't know whether you are talking about the person who has sent the email on the first place or the person that has sent the response.

    Re: Email auto generated response

    Try this:

Thank you for your e-mail. This is an automated response to indicate that you message has been received, but may not yet have been read or acted upon. You should receive a response within X business days.

    Re: Email auto generated response

Sorry for the confusion, I wrote it as an acknowledgement of receiving the email, so it should not be "read by the sender".

    Many thanks for the help.
