    Re: Is this sentence correct?

We rather use friendly as an adverb with words like 'way' or 'manner': "They correct my mistakes in a friendly way."

    Re: Is this sentence correct?

Hi there, I'm not a native speaker or teacher

However, the word "friendly" is not an adverb though it looks so: rather, it is an ADJECTIVE.
    eg
    - a friendy smile
-Anne is so friendly towards Bob.
    -friendly relations
    -friendly voice
-She is very friendly & helpful.

It can also be used as a noun, incidentlly.

    eg
friendly2 plural friendlies [countable] British English
a game played for pleasure or practice, and not because it is important to win (Longman dictionary)

    cheers
    Udara

    Re: Is this sentence correct?

    1. You mean friendliness (noun). Friendlies as a noun can only refer to sport.
    2. The word friendly ends in -ly but it is not an adverb. The adverb can be made up for either:
    In a friendly way or
    warmly, cordially....
