    Inquiry & Query?

I am confused when I should use these two words “inquiry and query” and I would like to know if they have the same meaning or not and whether they are interchangeable or not. I appreciate your usual help.

    My Best Regards

    Re: Inquiry & Query?

They aren't interchangeable; a query is something small, often a single question, so you can't use it for bigger things- the police make inquiries.
