    A question on Grammar

Can someone please help me with this:

"If I start drawing today, how long will it take for me to reach your level?"

    or

"If I start drawing today, how long will it take me to reach your level?"

Which one, if any, is correct? Also, can I use "started" and "would" instead of "start" and "will"? what difference will it make?

    Thank you very much

They're both fine. The emphasis is slightly different. 'How long will it take me' focuses on your effort, whereas 'How long will it take for me...' is just asking for an impersonal estimate.

"If I started drawing today, how long would it take...' implies some uncertainty about the start (whether it will happen at all).
