    Default on crawl

    Do you work weekends, too?

Nah, unless when I'm on crawl.

    When you're on crawl?

Yeah, that's about... every five weeks.
Unless I heard wrong, he said "on crawl". Does anyone know what he meant by that?

    Default Re: on crawl

The expression is 'on call' - constantly available at a known telephone number, and ready to provide service (either at the normal place of work or on the customer's site - as agreed) in an emergency.
